Letters to anxiety//The Ebbs and The Flows with william balme

LEtters to Anxiety Documentary
Over five years, Vinnie Petrilli of Third Space Studios and William Balme, an educator, shot, produced and directed a documentary focusing on the individual struggles relating to anxiety, depression and mental health issues, and how one person’s own mental health battle struck a chord across community, friendship groups and with random strangers. Within the context of the shattering impact of an anxiety disorder comes an opportunity for the most important open conversation we can possibly have as a society.
Everyone’s story matters.
How can we be more proactive in productively being there for those around us who are struggling and reduce the stigma around mental health struggles, opening the door for potentially powerful and connective conversations?
This is where The Ebbs and The Flows begins.

‘This should be shown in every boys’ school across Australia’
